MYTH: Eating fruits anytime of the day is good for you, especially when your goal is to lose fat!
TRUTH: The best time to eat them is in the morning, primarily between 7am to 11am. Our body is doing major detoxification during this period and they promote good bowel movements and boost metabolism.
Eating fruits throughout the day will also hinder your fat loss goal as they are high in sugar.
Further, to satisfy your midnight hunger pangs I would recommend vegetables instead of fruits. Not only do vegetables have more minerals, vitamins and anti-cancer properties, they also have fewer calories as compared to fruits.
Eating clean does not always make you lean but eating SMART will!
